Northwinds Reboot - Part 16 - Becoming Familiar with the Town of Pounawea

We have reached Day 7 in Pounawea, so from this point on, the family could be uprooted any day. Sometimes their stays are brief and other times they can put down some roots and enjoy their stay. So far they have stayed in one town anywhere from 9 days to 54 days. 

It's been a while since I dropped in on my North Winds Legacy household, so a little review is in order.

Calvin Albert - the Gen 4 heir - The current heir's grandfather. Calvin is a werewolf and an artist (though that's not his official profession.) His favorite pastime is sketching in his sketchbook. He's currently registered as a hook-baiter (freelance fisherman.) He was born in Huckleberry Bay, and Pounawea is his 9th town where he has lived. His traits are Supernatural Fan (he became a werewolf because if it), Loves the Outdoors, Easily Impressed, Proper, and has Star Quality. He is now an elder. He likes Island Music, Stu Surprise, and the color black. His Lifetime Wish is to be a Zoologist, catching animals in the wild. This wish tends to reset itself with all the jumping around I do, so he'll probably never really achieve it. 

Calvin has purchased a small art gallery here in Pounawea, and he's in the process of replacing the works on display with his own creations.

Calvin found his favorite watering hole in town. The bar isn't named, so I named it the Peacock Lounge for obvious reasons. 

It's a colorful bar with colorful characters. 

Pounawea is a small town with a large golf course. (I'm hoping the family can get out and play some golf before they are uprooted.) Most of the downtown is just a few lots that have several businesses on the same lot. The Peacock Lounge is one such establishment. 

Angelo Albert - Gen 5 - is the first college graduate in the family. He earned a business degree back in Lin Meadows. Angelo was born in Twinbrook and is the son of Calvin and Lolly Racket. Angelo has lived in 5 towns so far. He just became an elder. His traits include Excitable, Brave, Childish, Workaholic, and Nurturing. He's currently working in the business career as a department head. Angelo likes Kid's Music, Vegetarian Grilled Salmon, and the color Orange. Angelo hasn't done much other than work since he's been here, but he did go to the salon and get a tattoo for his birthday. 

The tattoo artist's name is Rosanna Olson. She and Angelo got along well. 

Rosamel Holt - Gen 6 - Daughter of Angelo and his sometimes girlfriend Abigail Holt. (Abigail was a bit older than Angelo, and a bit younger than Calvin. She was a wild one, getting romantically involved with both father and son. She died of old age shortly before the North Wind came calling for the heirs.)

Rosamel arrived in Pounawea as a rebellious teen having established a reputation in Lin Meadows for graffitiing public restrooms all around town. She has since aged up to young adult, but is continuing her street art antics. This is her first experience in a new town having been born in Lin Meadows and having the luxury of spending her formative years there. Her traits are Genius, Eccentric, Absent Minded, Rebellious, and Excitable. 

 

As a teen, she enjoyed working out at the gym, creating street art, and whooping her peers at chess. 

For a genius, she's not very practical in her career choice. As a child she always wanted to be an acrobat, and by golly, she's determined to make that dream come true. The family has a lot of money, so she really doesn't have to work for a living, so more power to her. Her Lifetime Wish is to Master the Acrobat Career. 

I've been wanting to create a travelling circus, so maybe this is where that starts. 

Rosamel also has a dog named Bella who is Non-destructive, Skittish, Proud, and Loyal.
