Introduction to Soleil Hills
Soleil Hills is a remake of the custom world of Soleil Coastal Hills created by Back Mee
CJ Plays did a world overview of it a few months ago if you want to see the original version. CJ Plays world overview of Soleil Coastal Hills
Here's the world download Soleil Coastal Hills
Here's the folder that includes my save file and the downloaded .world file https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Za3RVq-lTtCGwfgUZTpIoBlqzQvN-5Q2?usp=sharing
I don't think there is any CC in here, but there will be some store content, and possibly all EPs were used along with some Stuff Pack items. Some Monte Vista rabbithole buildings are included. This world doesn't have a criminal hideout, but I think one could easily be added if you want one.
Welcome to Soleil Hills!
This little Mediterranean island is a great place to get away and take things slower. If you are visiting, you will find great fishing, camping, beaches, a botanical garden and some ruins from long ago. You can either rough it at the campground or be pampered at Cypress Retreat.
The town has an active live performance stage that supports plays, musical acts, magicians, and acrobats. Enjoy shopping in the town center, relaxing at the spa, visiting the pub and performing karaoke, working out at the gym, or just grabbing a coffee and watching the people.
If you decide to stay a while, you will find a few available houses, an empty lot for those who want to build their custom home, or if you prefer, you can move into the Bella Soleil Duplex and live upstairs from Elvis! (You will need to merge with household to do so.)
Available houses:
Mediterranean Starter Home - sparsely furnished $16,721 simoleons
The Alba (created by MrsFlynn)- unfurnished - 22,785 simoleons
Shell Challenge House from Plumbob95's challenge shell - fully furnished - 65930 simoleons.
Let's meet the residents.
Residing at Casa Blanca is Dr. Winston Baum. (elder)
Dr. Winston did some shady things back when he was younger. It involved providing a star athlete with
an illegal performance-enhancing substance known as “buzzberry.” The athlete also provided the
substance to his horse, giving the horse an unfair advantage in competitions. He would have gotten
away with it too if it weren’t for a meddling teenage sleuth named Jolene Roland, who caught him
passing the package to the athlete one evening during a stake-out. To avoid the law and subjecting his
family to further shame, Winston quietly divorced his wife and fled Sagehen Mesa. He ended up in
Soleil Hills working in a small medical clinic on the island. Will he miss his days of being a well-known
surgeon? Will he miss his wife and daughter? Or will he settle into his new life, learn to take things
slow, and put his past behind him?
The Hacienda is occupied by the McCombs
Arlene McCombs (adult)
Arlene was on her way to personal success when her kid sister Faye called up and said she was
pregnant and had broken up with Tarik, the baby daddy. Being a good sister, Arlene offered Faye the
upstairs level of her recently purchased house to stay in until she got back on her feet. She wasn’t
counting on Faye staying as long as she has, or that she would make up with Tarik and move him in
with them. Will they ever move out on their own?
Fay McCombs (young adult)
Faye had a lot going for her and had some big dreams, but she fell for Tarik, and soon became a
mother to little Christine. Will motherhood and the presence of her sketchy baby-daddy divert her
from her original path?
Tarik Billings (young adult)
Faye landed in a comfortable situation, he changed his mind. Free rent! Let’s see how long we can ride
this gravy-train.
Christine McCombs (toddler) - perceptive and easily impressed.
Residents of "Ray's House" created by Maja Ball
Cassandra Madsen (adult), her fiancé Shon Redkey (adult), and their two dogs Mateo and Mr. Boots.
Cassandra thinks she’s ready to put her partying days behind her, settle down, and start a family.
Her fiancé Shon and his dog Mr. Boots have just moved in with her and her dog Mateo, and Cassandra
and Shon are planning the wedding.
Residents of Yellow Spanish Cartoon House
Lance Crump (young adult)
Lance moved to Soleil Hills to escape the pressure from his parents to join the family business. Lance
had never had any interest in the business and really doesn’t know what he wants to do with his life.
There are so many options! One reason he picked Soleil Hills as his new location is due to rumors that a
young Elvis Presley slipped through a time portal of some sort and ended up here. Lance is a big fan
and is dying to meet him. (Lance lives with his puppy Leroy.)
Alana Whiting (young adult)
Alana wants to be a famous Magician, but she also likes to be a big fish in a small pond. She decided
Soleil Hills would be a good place to start developing her skills. She doesn’t plan to stay here forever
but will move on once her skills are up to her own standards - at least that’s her plan for now.
Lance and Alana are new to Soleil and don’t know each other well. They met after moving into the
house - Lance in the main house and Alana in the small basement apartment. Lance is hoping for a
love connection with Alana, but she may be more interested in starting her career as a magician.
Residents of Mediterranean Townhome
Damien Crawford (adult)
Grace Chow (adult)
Bradley Chow (toddler) - excitable and artistic
Damien and Grace met at work and bonded over their love of vegetarian fish ‘n chips. Other than that,
they have very little in common aside from their “oops baby” Bradley. Damien isn’t the type to settle
down, but he’s decided to give domestic life a try for little Bradley’s sake. Grace prefers to be alone, so
she doesn’t mind Damien’s workaholic tendencies. In fact, having a hardworking husband might help
make her dream of living in the lap of luxury come true - provided he decides to marry her and doesn’t
find a new love interest.
The Resident at Bella Soleil Duplex
Only the lower level of this duplex is occupied, so you can live in the larger upper level - if you merge with Elvis Presley or kick him out.
Elvis Presley (young adult)
Whoa! What happened? Young Elvis was at a party with friends talking about how he plans to be a
famous singer someday when the host of the party told him he had invented a time machine that would
allow Elvis to travel to the future to see if his plans worked out. Elvis didn’t believe him, but went along
with the “joke.” He climbed into the closet-sized contraption and heard his friend say, “I’ll send you to
the 21st century, so you can see if you’ve become a household name. Hold on . . . .” Elvis became very
dizzy, stumbled out of the machine, and blacked out. When he awoke, he was lying on the beach of
Soleil Hills. The time machine was nowhere to be found, so Elvis assumes it somehow returned to his
friend while Elvis was unconscious. At least that’s the story he tells the residents. If it’s true, will he
ever be able to return to his natural timeline, or is this his second chance at stardom? Can he repeat his
past success without the tragic ending of his former life? Elvis is still a little unsettled, but he has a job
in music, a guitar, and his little kitten Honey Presley to keep him grounded. And there’s that cute
blonde that lives next door who helps make his situation more tolerable.
Resident of the Hotpepper House
Brianna Womack (young adult)
Brianna loves three things: fishing, music, and her little kitty Kia. Her family used to come to Soleil Hills for summer vacations, and Brianna has fond memories of the place. She moved here about a year ago and has started to put down roots. She’s hoping to start a family in the near future. Can she find a suitable mate? The delusional Elvis impersonator next door has shown some interest. Does she want to
be his Pricilla?
Residents of Spanish Home with Detached Studio
The Bairds
Paulo Baird (adult)
Rachel Baird (adult) holding one of the twin boys
The babies are Kurtis (loves the outdoors & excitable) and Omar (loner and clumsy).
The Bairds were excited to start their family. Having twins was a little more than they bargained for.
Can they balance their professions and their domestic lives?
Note: With the exception of Dr. Baum, all sims were provided by Nraas Story Progression. Some were
altered a little to eliminate pudding-face or adjust traits slightly, and a few - Elvis in particular - was
altered a lot after I discovered Lance Crump's favorites included both Rockabilly music and Fried
peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Most of these folks were single adults when they entered the town,
so I changed the ages of a few and gave everyone makeovers to eliminate unfortunate wardrobe choices.
Those that are couples now chose to be so through Story Progression as I was play-testing as I built the
world and let Story Progression run while doing so.
The younger McCombs were created by me - randomizing most traits. At first I pictured Arlene as a single
mother, but I wanted the baby to resemble her, but not exactly, so I needed a father for the child. Then I
decided she could have a sister who was the single mother. I created Tarik thinking I'd use him to make the
baby, then remove him from the family. But he got some interesting randomized traits and looked fun to
play with, so I kept him.
All the lots were created by me with the exception of The Alba by MrsFlynn and Ray's House by Maja
Ball. The resort was originally a home in Monte Vista that I converted into a resort, and the Mediterranean
townhouse is a refurbished EA build from the bin. If you are interested in any of my builds, most can be
found on the Exchange under Cheeseweasel.
