This is the official "spin-off" of Sagehen Mesa, anchored by Jolene (Rowland) Lawson who grew up in Sagehen Mesa, attended college in Sunset Valley, and occasionally makes an appearance as a visitor to Sagehen Mesa or on escapades with some of the people of that town. Now she is living and raising her family in Sunset Valley. If you're new to my stories, here are the key characters in this series: Jolene has a flair for being dramatic, and she's fond of sticking her nose into other people's business. She was known for spying on the neighbors and citizens of Sagehen Mesa as a teen. She envisioned herself as a real-life Veronica Mars: a teen private investigator dealing with cases both big and small in the town. She is credited with exposing the illegal buzzberry operation in the area just before leaving for college.
