North Winds Reboot - Part 14 - Rosamel Falls in Love
Hooray! Blogger is now letting me upload screenshots. For the previous episode (Part 13), follow this link to Tumblr.
If you don't want to bother or the link isn't working here are the highlights:
- Rosamel's childhood adventures - mostly centered around Spooky Day.
- The death of Maxwell, Rosamel's great great grandfather.
- Rosamel's teen birthday and her acquisition of the rebellious trait.
Apparently she didn't appreciate the efforts her mother went through to throw her a party at the restaurant - the ingrate!
Rosamel had developed a crush on Daniel Handyman (of the "pretty" Handyman family.) Whether this is because he's the only one who was clever enough to find his way into the restaurant and celebrate her birthday with her, or for another reason, is anyone's guess.
She wanted to ask him to the high school dance, so she went over to his house. She caught him just as he was leaving to go trick-or-treating - in the dead of winter. He decided he'd start with her.
"I gotta go! Time's a wastin'! Can you meet me back here in a few hours?" he asked. Rosamel must be a good sport as she agreed to do so. When Rosamel trick-or-treated on Spooky Day, she only found two houses where people were home. I followed Daniel with the camera to see if he had better luck than she did. (I was just watching, not controlling him.) He went to a few houses where no one was home, but overall, he had more success than she did. Maybe he knows something the rest of us don't.
It just happened to be the night of a full moon, so as the sun set, Daniel decided he'd better return home and see what Rosamel wanted.
Rosamel said people should have been giving out money to anyone determined enough to trick-or-treat in a snowstorm, which Daniel thought was hilarious.
Daniel was shocked and amazed that a girl as hot as Rosamel had a crush on him. "I will absolutely go to the dance with you, Rosamel!"
Rosamel spent the next few days trying to establish her reputation as a rebel. She set a goal for herself to vandalize all the public restrooms in town.
She started with the one at her mom's workplace - the salon. She followed it up with the one in the business building, which was a little riskier as there were several people around and many of them wanted to use the bathroom.
Jane Randolf caught Rosamel in the act, but that didn't deter her. Poor Jane had to go really, really bad, but Rosamel told her she'd just have to hold it until she was finished with her masterpiece.
Rosamel is a complicated young lady. She'll gleefully pull pranks, troll forums and deface public property, but she's also a bit of a nerd and loves to learn new things. The town had a snow day, and she kept getting wants to learn new things, so she took a logic and a street art class at the college.
The next day, she called up Daniel and asked him out to the gym as she wanted to develop her martial arts skill and thought they should practice their dance moves so they wouldn't look foolish at the dance in a few days.
While Daniel was working out, she slipped into the women's restroom and was doing what she does best, but she suddenly got a creepy feeling that she was being watched, . . .
She decided to lay low for awhile. She didn't want to get grounded from going to prom. Speaking of that, it's time to practice their dance moves.
"I need to concentrate on getting my grades up before I make any decisions about that, but I think I would like to be a gemologist or jeweler someday."
From the coffee shop, they went to the arcade, where I think Rosamel let Daniel win at pinball - his score was considerably higher than hers, and I really didn't think she gave it her all.
I think she got 44 points and he got 132 points. Daniel is clearly more interested in arcade games than Rosamel is.
Abigail was seen hanging out with Melvin Handyman (of the "funny looking" Handyman family.)
She was flirty, and he was flattered, but I think what he really wanted was to interview her about her salon business.
Calvin had a date with Marsha Champion-McLeod. He was trying to impress her by telling her he was a successful artist.
I didn't think they would have a successful date because she clearly didn't like the fact that he was a werewolf, and he thought she was being overdramatic. I thought I'd add some fuel to this fire by having Calvin ask if he could sketch her nude. To my surprise, she agreed to it!
He was only drawing her face, but maybe the full body nude pose inspired him. At any rate, the date wasn't that bad after all.
Also, while I was with some of the other townies learning of all the scandals, this household adopted a puppy named Bella and Angelo got a job at the science center.
It surprised me that Angelo took a job at the science center since he switched majors from science to business. I had him quit and join the business career, especially after he fell victim of a bad experiment.
Also, this game doesn't know Abigail very well. She chases every man in town - except her baby-daddy Angelo.
An inept acrobat trying to impress Abigail.
