North Winds Reboot - Part 12 - The Drama Going on Behind My Back
The cursed family of the North Winds Legacy is clinging tenaciously to the little town of Lin Meadows. It's now day 45 of their stay, and it just might break Twinbrook's record of 54 days.
The good news is that Angelo has become the family's first college graduate, earning a degree in business after switching his major from science to business after his first semester; little Rosamel isn't so little anymore, and boy howdy have the neighbors turned out to be an interesting and scandalous lot!
We'll start with a look at a few of the families in this town.
The warped Lemons tree
There is an elderly woman named Andrea Lemons-Bradley. She is married to an elderly man named JC Bradley, and they have a girl, now a teen, named Shavon. When Shavon and Rosamel were still children, they were friends, and Rosamel went over to Shavon's house to play.
There were other children of Andrea's also in this house, presumably by a previous marriage to a young man named Ezra Lemons. These children were older - teens I think, at the time this screenshot was taken. These kids' names are Elisio, Marcie, and Vance.
Lets move on to Elisio, son of Ezra and Andrea. Elisio is a baby-daddy with two children from a girlfriend named Alexandra Baugh-Jam. The thing is they are identified in each other's relationship panel as being boyfriend and girlfriend - not ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend - but they hate each other! (Or more accurately, they deeply dislike each other, with the dislike bar filled completely up, but they don't have the stabby-stabby/enemy knife icon.) I'm not sure why they dislike each other, but I figured Alexandra is better off living in her mother's and step-father's house, so I built on and made sure she had enough cribs for little Demetrius and little Johnnie.
Here are some of the family members from the Baugh-Jam tribe. Alexandra is in the yellow top, her brother (I think) is next to her, and the lady with the big hair is Alexandra's mother Ebony. The old woman is Abigail, my heir Rosamel's mother, who just aged up to elder while at the Baugh-Jam's party. Later I let her dye her hair back to blonde because she is a stylist after all.
I thought for sure she's get him cornered at the Spooky Day costume party she threw, where he came dressed as a cop. He stayed way past the party, but other events got in the way of Abigail's goals. (More about that later.) Finally, one day he asked her out - to the cemetery of all places.
He had a wedding on his mind, but I don't think it was in regard to Abigail - I think he had just recently married Ebony. Maybe he was having second thoughts. He quickly yielded to Abigail's advances.
This seemed to be a one-time thing, and I kept getting notices of Zachery and Ebony being all lovey-dovey around town, but if word got back to Alexandra regarding this tryst, I can see why she dislikes her step-father.
I figured this man-child needed to grow up and take responsibility, so I moved Marcie and her child Keely in with him, took away his computer and desk (no more video games for you!) and made room for two cribs. Later I saw Marcie walking down the street around 10:24 pm one cold winter's night, on her way to visit one of the Handyman households.
It's a wonder someone didn't report Marcie to the authorities! Several had the opportunity to do so. They just walked right past little Keely sitting chest-deep in the snow. I guess people mind their own business around here.
And here's his daughter as a toddler.
Now maybe she won't be made fun of at school. They'll probably pick on the vampire kid instead - if they dare. The guy in the red coat is Daniel Handyman of the "pretty" Handyman family. He's a friend of Rosamel's.
