Life in the Bayou - Part 9 - The Nimmo brothers and the cat lady.

I've recently encountered some issues with this save. With the help of Regul Save Cleaner, Nraas Master Controller, and other strategies, it's still running, but sometimes closes suddenly. Also, I have been exploring InZoi since it came out, so the combination of these two events explains why this episode maybe be shorter and less in depth than previous ones.

First, the kids in the town are growing up. Louie Echols is a young adult and wanting to leave the nest. He moved into one side of the Double Barrel Shotgun house (created by Sandraelle).

Louie moved into the more traditional side as the other side was occupied by Shelton Thurman. Shelton is a daredevil, genius, green thumb, hopeless romantic, and excitable. He's also divorced, apparently.

At least that's what he told mad scientist Scott Guinn.

Louie is considering asking his mean-spirited girlfriend Hayley Spencer to marry him and move in.

The long awaited Vitality Fitness Center (created by soocoolsim) arrived in town, and the residents were thrilled. Shelton was one of the first to visit.

The Blackmon's were also on the lot, but it seems only Billy was interested in working out.

Sandy just came for the snacks.

Time to visit some of the new arrivals.

The Nimmo brothers came to town after inheriting a cabin from Widow Williams, a shirt-tail relative. These young men are two peas in a pod. They have identical traits: good sense of humor, flirty, party animal, virtuoso, and charismatic as well as an identical lifetime wish - to be rockstars. Both have mastered guitar and piano and both have some skill with the drums. They headed for the theater to apply for jobs in the music career, then went to the park.

Glenn showed off his musical stylings while his brother Scott joined the hotdog eating contest. Then Scott came and joined his brother along with Davina O'Neil, the fairy and some other guy whose name I forgot.

Both Glenn and Scott have shown an interest in fixing up Widow William's old classic car.

One evening, I sent them over to The Rising Sun (created by SusanMarieD who also created Widow Williams' Cabin and the Nimmo brothers) to check things out there.

Scott showed a preference for playing musical instruments on the stage, but Glenn was absolutely obsessed with the Love Inspector, and it seems the Love Inspector was equally obsessed with him! 😆

I guess Glenn was finally confident enough to talk to a real live girl.

Unfortunately I don't remember her name, but I'm pretty sure she gave him her number, so they can get to know each other at a later time.

A little more goofing around, and it was time to head on home.

I also dropped in on Allma Lorde and her cats who reside at Carnivale Cottage (created by Kcity74). Unfortunately, I didn't get too far with her before the game up and closed.

I will be taking more screenshots of her next time I'm in the game. She did go to Honeyspring Plantation, the nectary down the road, (created by Minasawa) and made some of her own brand of pomegranate nectar and met some townsfolk.

I was excited to see Star Crowder there, and thought they might become fast friends as both are cat lovers. However, Allma put her foot in her mouth, poor girl. She'll have to try again at a later time I guess.

I'll close with some shots of people enjoying the botanical gardens.

This particular save file keeps crashing, (I blame the Echols family and their litter of critters), so I'll leave things here. Once the town is completed, I'll create a clean save file with the households created for this world buy the builders and start a new game at some point.
