As planned, I took a detour to visit Honey. While there, I discovered a few others who had infant children and no cribs, so I fixed up their houses to accommodate their needs.
First I went to Chuck's friend Oriole's house as Honey and her boyfriend Byron went to a party there and discovered a little tyke hanging out on the floor. His name was Rex Dunham, and it appears Oriole's sister Alouette got married to Woodrow Dunham and they had a baby. Woodrow wasn't living in the house and there was room for him, so I moved him in. Little Rex has the slob and friendly traits.
This is Alouette. She's having a birthday.
Her party went well. There was music, a keg, and birthday cake.

The party was mostly outside to take advantage of the last days of fall. Plus they have such a nice set-up in the back yard.
Happy Birthday, Alouette. I hope you had a great day. Now on to the next house.
I wanted to fix up Imogen Pelly's house to resemble a Barbie house to acknowledge the Barbie craze. Imogen seemed to be the most obvious choice as her floor plan is rather odd and modern, lore indicates she was a famous actress who had some disastrous plastic surgery and moved to Appaloosa Plains to avoid the public. However, I have never thought she looked bad. Anyway, she has a baby girl named Andria Pelly, whose father is Booker Singleton. I didn't change much inside except changing colors to Barbie-fy it and add a crib at the top of the stairwell for Andria. Poor girl is really an afterthought and doesn't really have a room or toys or anything. She has the artistic and athletic traits. Here's the exterior of the Pelly house.
It was a bit dark and stormy when I took this picture. Below is Imogen Pelly in what I guess she considers her workout clothes (insane trait.)
After returning to Honey, I found she had given birth to baby Ty, who has the brave and excitable traits. I had already set up the nursery with pink as it is Honey's favorite color, and I assumed she wanted a girl. Little Ty is loved just the same.
Byron's a good dad and helps out a lot. Byron had moved in, but he and Honey weren't married. However, he had a wish to change that.
He's clumsy and it was so cute to watch him fumble with the box and nearly drop it in the snow.
She said yes!
She's getting a little long-in-the-tooth and will be an elder within a day, and I wanted her to have her wedding while she was still young, so I set up the barn for the wedding, thinking she'd like a casual country wedding.
Skedaddle thought my design choices were questionable. She especially had concerns about my choice of seating.
Don't be such a neigh-sayer, Skedaddle!
Honey agreed with Skedaddle on the chairs. Hey, Bridezilla! You just got engaged a couple hours ago! Give me a break!
She dried her tears and put on a brave face.
While Honey and Byron were standing at the arch, waiting for the guests to get seated, Honey noticed that Barrington Diamond was having an altercation with Alouette Dunham.
Then while she had her back turned, taking a phone call, Juanita Blanco had the audacity to flirt with the groom! Who invited these people?!? Oh, wait, it was me. 😕
Mrs. Curley thinks Juanita's behavior is just pitiful, and Honey doesn't look too thrilled with her either.
Everyone's seated but you, Barrington. What gives? Honey looks puzzled as well.
Despite Barrington's social faux pas, the ceremony was quite nice.
Though Dawn Farnsworth felt their tongue-wresting exhibition was quite scandalous!
The passageway to outside deck is just an archway, so I assume that explains why most of the guest quicky changed to questionable outerwear right after the ceremony. Even Honey had one of those moments.
She looks kind of cute, though. She and Byron kind of match. I made her change back into her dress, however.
All the guests loaded up on the buffet and wedding cake. Some even brought French toast. Who brings French toast to a wedding reception? One guest, however, was quite fond of the bar. Her name is Patricia Beddington. I think she's unhappy about her life. I may have to check in on her and see what's going on.
I've also seen her around town helping herself to the bars.
She thought she could fool everyone by drinking at the bar in the house part of the time, but I think everyone knows she has a drinking problem.
It appears Barrington Diamond wasn't done being an ass. He had the nerve to criticize Honey's use of the barn for the wedding rather than using a room in the house.
Honey was shocked at his rudeness and told him to go home. We won't be inviting him to any more of our parties unless we are looking for drama.
Honey took the opportunity to socialize with her co-worker Bertram as her relationships with her coworkers has been going downhill since she hasn't been to work for several days.
The wedding night. The honeymoon will have to wait a few days as I've experienced problems with sims having birthdays while on vacation before. After Honey's birthday, they plan to visit Hidden Springs and maybe buy a vacation home there.
But first, it's baby Ty's birthday. I think he's more interested in breastfeeding.
While waiting for Honey to age up, the couple made use of their time off by playing in the snow and ice skating together.
Honey aged up and I gave her a makeover, preserving her blonde tresses, then they headed to Hidden Springs. To be continued . . . .
