Adventureland #23 - Antwan Whipsnake and Rocco Sample - the final episode (at least for now)

This is probably the last episode of this series, at least for now. It takes over 30 minutes for this particular game to load, and I think there's some corruption of the file. However, I created a "clean save" by starting a new game in Adventureland, deleting the old builds, and placing the ones from this world. However some of the families are on different timelines and so the old stories, for example the whole trial and such, will not have happened in that new game. I'm going to let it rest for awhile before revisiting it. Here's what happened in the final episode.

Sonyia and Antwan seem to be getting along for the most part, but as with every parent and child, there are some growing pains as the child grows and starts making his own choices. Here Sonyia appears to be telling him he needs to get to bed at a reasonable hour as he has a test at school the next day.

I'm not sure he listened. Sometimes he likes to just get out of the house and spend some time alone. One day he discovered a tiny little garden overlooking the town. He likes to hang out here. There are several plants that produce fruits and veggies, but there's one in the middle that seems particularly tempting. A snake can often be found hanging out there. (This is the Garden of Eden 10x10 challenge lot.)

When he's not hanging out in this "secret spot," he's working on his guitar skills. He's getting pretty good.

Prom rolled around, and Dayna Russo met up with him at his house, so they could leave together.

However, she got in the limo to wait for him to get his prom duds on  . . .

but as he was approaching the car and got in, she slipped out, and the limo left without her!

You can see her in the distance just above the trash can on the right.

What a catastrophe! Dayna had given up and went home.

But I took control of her and sent her to the Prom. She and Antwan had a great time and decided to go steady. The next day, Antwan decided to hang out at the pool with his best friend Edgar and with Dayna.

I got the pop-up that three's a crowd, and maybe Antwan should break of the group so he and Dayna could spend more one-on-one time together. I cancelled it the first time.

Edgar was being a little erratic that afternoon, I think he's jealous of all the attention Antwan is giving to Dayna. When I got the "threes a crowd" prompt again, I thought maybe it was time for Antwan and Dayna to have some alone time. Edgar had other ideas however.

So Edgar tagged along on Antwan's and Dayna's date.

Let's leave Antwan to sort out his friend problems and check in on Rocco Sample and his girlfriend Lashanda. They were pretty much driven from their house on the beach when they took in too many roommates. They ended up at Mosquito Cove, where the Pyles used to live. The Pyles left the place in disrepair due to Denny's werewolf tendencies, so I helped them spruce up the place a little - just a little "paint up, fix up." I enclosed the front porch that had the old fridge and turned that area into the kitchen with nicer appliances. I recolored the outside, extended the back porch, updated a few of the windows, put new railings on the porches, and painted up the inside. It's still sparsely decorated as Rocco and Lashanda ran out of funds.

Naomi Pyle left her alchemy station here, which is good because Rocco wants to get into alchemy. Although it isn't anything fancy, Rocco and Lashanda seem to be enjoying their little love nest.

I think Rocco's in love. I gave Lashanda a slight makeover - just some make-up and a new hairstyle.

It appears Rocco can now break into people's houses, but the game kept crashing when it go to this point due to script errors. Oh well. Maybe we'll see this town in a different context somewhere down the road. So long Adventureland!
