Clary Saga 5 - The days before the "big move."

 Stephanie returned home to Monte Vista and spent some quality time with her family. She encountered her ghostly father and wanted to show him her duck test, but he was afraid, which shocked her.


She didn't throw the duck at him. "Geez, Stef! Are you trying to give your old man another heart attack?!"


I think I messed up prom when I sent Stefanie to college, because the teens were all dressed up in their formalwear. Both teens were called up and asked out on a date. 

Alexandra was invited out to the park by her date, who apparently had just graduated. This makes him too old for her as she is just a teen and he is now a young adult. There were only friendly interactions, then Alexandra went home because of curfew.

Bernardo's date was a bit of a prankster and threw a water balloon at him. They were enjoying a water balloon fight when the game crashed. 


This particular game is bloated due to my LEPacy challenge, and it makes my computer really hot very fast, so I plan on saving the family to the bin and placing them in my Adventureland game instead. First I needed to address Stephanie's love interests and add them to my household. I had her invite both out to the gym to hang out. It turns out, Conor the barista was older than I thought. He must have been an adult when Stefanie went to him with her problems. Now he's an elder and she's barely a young adult, so I won't be taking him with us. I also forgot to save Jeffrey Dean to the bin. I guess I can have Stefanie invite him for a visit and then save him and his progress to the bin before eliminating this game completely. As for JC, it appears he and Stefani are picking up where they left off.

In fact, JC has been waiting for her to come back from college so he could ask her something . . . .




He apparently wasn't the only one that day with that idea.


In the upper right corner of this picture are two horses. I took a closer look.


It looks like the buckskin is proposing to the sorrel, and the sorrel is thinking of getting spiffed up for the wedding, but maybe the buckskin just witnessed JC's proposal from afar. I could be reading too much into this, but it's fun. 

One dark and stormy night before the family moved, I thought the alien bike thief was going to strike again.





But I guess she was just checking things out. She looked around for a little while, then left.



Stefanie took a couple picture with her mom. Who knows how much longer Paloma will be around, after all?


On to Adventureland, but first I will need to build them a house.

LEPacy challenge: Generation 9 - Gains teens - continued renovations to Roseward.

 My game has crashed twice because I get wrapped up in the game play and building and forget to save regularly. I hope I didn't lose too much progress. I'll start this post with Fluff's graduation and the Gains family vacation to Egypt. I posted these on Facebook already, but I also wanted them here. I discovered that the option to "turn into toy form" did not make the imaginary friends unplayable like a ghost choosing to return to the dead. Instead they turn into the walking around kind. Both Snuggles and Fluffs wanted to go to Egypt, so after Fluff graduated, that's what the entire family did - except Simicon and the dog. Fluff graduated at the courthouse as in all games. I had put a jynx rug inside the blacked out shell. Later I changed the blacked out part to an interior with floors and walls - not yet furnished.  Gina has a crush of Fluffs, but now that he's a young adult, he can't be romantically involved with her.
