Upon my return to Adventureland, I was notified that Virginia Thompson got a new puppy. I guess she thought he would be a good playmate for little Tommy, . . .
But Tommy seems enamored of his imaginary friend.
After supplying them with a food bowl and box of toys for the puppy, I was off to Alexander Beaumont's Spring Soiree. This time, most people were dressed appropriately - no overalls.
It appears Natalia Cheek brought along an uninvited guest, of maybe he crashed the party on his own, as Natalia is now romantically involved with Jaron Belanger, or so I'm told through the grapevine. Also Robin "the vampire" Mitchell and Jack Ransone are getting cozy according to the rumors floating around town. I guess he finally found someone his own age.
Daisy Kadukin doesn't seem that upset about Jack's new love interest. I think she knew he would someday move on. She seemed to be enjoying herself at the party.
Meanwhile, the party crasher was really "cutting a rug."

Daisy ate her dinner with Denny Pyle who couldn't stop laughing about an earlier scene, (which we will get to soon.) He was hoping Cliff Fillmore would join the table, which he did.
"Hey Cliff, did you witness that fight out on the dance floor? It was a hoot!"
"I was minding my own business, making music with that new guy, Boyd Medley; . . .
you were there, Daisy, you must have seen it. You had just been talking with Korie about her children, then she went over to your grandson Roger. It looked like they were getting along well, when suddenly they weren't."
"I was taking a break from playing and enjoying Boyd's artistic stylings on the base . . .
When Korie up and slapped Roger a good one! That bride of yours has some temper, hasn't she?"
"Anyway, Roger skulked to the other room and whipped out his keyboard and started playing in the entry way, while Korie walked up to the piano and started playing her own tune."
Denny then moved to Sally's table and they started talking about real estate.
"Who's' building that new house next door?"
"Oh, that's my buddy Boyd Medley's house. He just won 100,000 simoleons in the lottery, you know."
Sally didn't feel much like dancing and wanted to take a break from the crowd. She and Boyd settled in for a little reading as the evening wound down.
Who's feeding the cat? Was that you, Roger?
Speaking of cats, Maggie decided to let go of the kitty cat hat as formalwear. It was so last season. She's still into animal prints, but now has an edgy new hairstyle.
She's wishing William had made it to the party, but his family was otherwise engaged. She decided to sample the nutrition cube one of the guests brought to the party.
"This looks like Jello!" She said. "I love Jello!"
"But this is definitely NOT Jello! What clown brought this to the party, I wonder?" She spotted her old teacher over at table, and after getting some real food, sat down with him and asked him what he planned to do now that he won the lottery.
"I just bought the lot nearby, and am building a house, greenhouse, and art studio there. Lakeshia is excited to be living next door to girls her own age. Plus, she can go fishing right across the street.
The Fillmore girls were at the party too. Annabelle wasn't into all the fancy dress-up activities.
But her sister Tracy was a proper little lady.
However, I had aging and story progression on for a few days, and one of the girls - I think it was Annabelle - aged up to teen. It won't be long before Maggie is out of a job and needing to find another job and living situation. She's a nanny and occasional hacker at the moment. I have since turned aging and story progression off for a bit.
But maybe she's needed here after all; Korie discovered she was pregnant.
She was excited and hungry and went to the kitchen to celebrate with some pumpkin pie.
Maybe this new baby will strengthen her marriage and she won't be asking ex-coworkers for dates anymore. She broke the news to Cliff, who seemed to be okay with it, but thought he might need to get a better job. He dreams of being an award winning author, but hasn't been making progress lately.

Maybe he could be a fireman. I don't have a fire station in town, but I have one I built for another town that I really like, and it has a bar/pizzeria attached, so it would be a good addition to the town. A few days later, Korie gave birth to a baby boy and named him Harrison.
Meanwhile, Boyd met Denny at the art gallery, and they decided to form a band together. They are now best friends. Since Boyd quit his job and bought a bigger house, he's nearly broke. He changed to a hobbyist of his own accord, but I'm going to make it work. His hobbies include painting, sculpting, and gem collecting. He's going to sell these items in the art gallery and consignment store (if I can ever get it to work.) Maybe he will get a few gigs with Denny too.
Being a lottery winner does have its downside, however. The paparazzi are stalking poor Lakeshia everywhere she goes, especially that creeper Erich.
"William, this weird man is following me everywhere and taking pictures! What do I do?"
To be continued.
