This installment is about Virginia reliving a day that was lost because I forgot to save. Today she is setting out to take a fishing class, but unlike the alternate timeline, she isn't taking little Tommy to class with her. She called a sitter named Leanne Wyman. I guess she's an okay sitter. She gets a little distracted with the TV and her phone, but she tends to Tommy when he squalls and plays with him a little.
Tommy's a cute little bugger. He's learned to walk and use the potty already.
I didn't see a fight between Rocco and his roommate Carlo today, but Virginia did brag to Carlo about her fishing skills. Carlo wasn't too impressed.
They enjoyed a little gossip. I wonder if it was about Rocco.
Or maybe it was about Anwar and his questionable wardrobe choices.
(This was his "work outfit" by the way. I took him to CAS and fixed it.)
The Wonzys were making out in the grocery store. I swear they do this out in public constantly.
Next, Virginia went to the consignment store to buy that black urn like she did on the alternate timeline. It appears this is where the altercations are taking place this time around.
Jenni insulted this paparazzo chick, but apparently the paparazzo was friends with Robin.
Natalia is apparently staying out of it and avoiding the potty-mouths. I wonder how things are going over at the barracks. Has anyone snagged Jack yet?
The next day, Virginia and little Tommy went fishing. At first Virginia wasn't catching much,
But persistence pays off. (This fishy is a big as you, Tommy!"
One thing I'm working on with Virginia is finding her a friend. So far she has the best relationship with Sally, so the next day I had her call to invite Sally over, but Sally had to work. So she called the next person - the "movie-extra" paparazzo. His name is Kain Chadwick, and he stopped by briefly, but had to leave almost immediately.
Virginia called the sitter and set out for the quarry, hoping to catch a few more fish before selling them to the grocery store. The fishing wasn't great, but she got to have some social time with some of the ladies, and she collected a lot of rocks and minerals.
Both Dina and Gwen live nearby, so maybe she needs to get a stroller and drop in while taking Tommy out and about. They look like they are up for a good time. I'm thinking of building a venue - probably an art gallery, for the community. In it I will have some wine and painting parties and I might have Carlo or some other sim start collecting and restoring the broken items at the quarry and fixing them up as art objects and selling them at the gallery. Now I just need to figure out the best way to make it happen. I can just see these ladies having a ball at the wine and painting party.

Later that afternoon, Virginia took her fish to the market and sold them. While she was there, she bought a lottery ticket, because, why not? The she went home and sold all the gems and minerals she collected. I kept track of the money, because I'm tired of all the sims taking a cab everywhere they go (except Sally, who bikes) and I wanted her to buy a car with her earnings. She found some pretty choice gems and minerals and was able to purchase this pickup.
While she was contemplating whether this was the right vehicle when she had a toddler, she got the awesome news! She won 50,000 in the lottery! (I was so surprised, I didn't have the presence of mind to snap a screenshot of the big check she was holding. I wish there was a rewind option with this game.)
