Toldeo County Residents #10 - Guadalupe starts her family, getting to know the neighbor.

It turns out the guy Guadalupe was pursuing is named Jayme Upton. Birthdays rolled around in the Metzger household: Sullivan aged up to a teen and Guadalupe aged up to an adult.

With Sullivan no longer in need of a nanny, and since Guadalupe now has a full-time job, she decided to move out and get her own place.  She started small.

She invited Jayme over to see her new place and asked him to move in with her. He agreed, and was responsive to her flirting with him - until she kissed him. Then he freaked out and thought she was being creepy.

They smoothed things over, though and eventually, after a few days, they tried for a baby. I don't understand what Jayme's hang-up is - he doesn't have commitment issues, but he is a loner. He doesn't seem interested in marrying Guadalupe, but he seems content raising a family with her.

They built on to Guadalupe's tiny house in preparation for the new bundle of joy.

Meanwhile, Guadalupe set out to enjoy her last few days of freedom before being tied down to baby-duty.

She met Ezra, a new guy in town, at the gym. They really hit it off, but it turns out everyone hits it off with Ezra.

After taking a swim, Guadalupe discovered that all the "cool kids" were hanging out in the women's bathroom.

Maybe they got disoriented when the retirement home shuttle dropped them off. The park is right across the street, ladies. (Although it is pretty clear that this lady does need to shower.)

Guadalupe then did some stretches and practiced her dance moves as Ezra admired her form. She ended her day by having a snack at the Coffee N Cream with Jayme.

Then she turned in and Jayme watched the game.

Early the next morning, Guadalupe has twin boys: Desmond, who is athletic and absent-minded, and Clark, who is good and friendly. I switched to the neighbor Bernadette Schwartz to give the kids some time to age up.

I found Bernadette working at Rebecca's Café. She had just recently moved to town and didn't know many people, but she really wanted to join the business career and become a CEO someday. She met Michelle and they became fast friends.

Bernadette is the one with the horrible blonde dye-job. I fixed her up in CAS to make her look more dignified for her new job. Then she went and applied to the business career.

I thought these guys might be her potential co-workers as they are dressed as some business employees are. Bernadette isn't desperate for a love relationship nor has she seemed obsessed with starting a family. She is ambitious, charismatic, easily impressed, a coward, and a great kisser. She seems to be leaning toward the ambition and charismatic traits. She doesn't seem to be afraid of zombies.

She likes parties - both throwing them and attending them.

These teens really know how to party! 😄

She's an excellent hostess, making sure no one feels left out.

She also likes hanging out with her gal-pal Michelle. (Shortly after this, I gave Michelle a makeover since we may be seeing more of her.)

A little while later, I got a notice that Guadalupe had just given birth to a daughter named Meaghen, so I took Bernadette over to meet the family, so I could fix up their house with another crib. Poor Guadalupe has her hands full with two toddlers, a baby, and a man who would rather flirt with the neighbor than fix the plumbing.

Hang in there, Guadalupe! I also got a notice that old man Vargas was frail and alone, and his property would have to be sold. This was weird because he has two sons. It turns out he was the last one standing at the retirement home, so I shuffled a few households around and moved in some more old people. Also, I noticed that Darron Vargas had produced a child with Lucia Toledo, but hadn't made an honest woman of her. I tried to get them together so he could propose, but they ended up having a bad date, and she left before he could do so.

I moved Orlando, who is now an elder, to the retirement home and moved Darron in with Lucia and their daughter. Now I think they have another child on the way. The other brother, Percy, kept the original house and puppy. He doesn't seem to have a love interest at this point.

That's it for now . . . more to come.
