Emerald Valley #6 - The fire

 The big news for this installment is the fire that took place at Elaine's house.



I decided to have them call the fire department instead of putting it out themselves, since no one seemed up to the job.


I wasn't sure this rookie firefighter was up to the job either, but she managed it.


After the fire was out. Elaine was advised to get a smoke detector.


Elaine wondered what it would cost to get a good one.

Elaine's roommates are Latosha McCombs, who works in the culinary career, and Natalie Currie, who works in the business career. Natalie is a friend of Athena's and they hung out at the Cherry Blossom House where Athena attempted to make some stir-fry.


Natalie was clearly having a good time.


As for Spring, she just flunked a test and hasn't made it past first year in magic. She's considering putting her focus into alchemy - at least until she can get the potion that turns her to a witch, then she might reapply.


Here she is eating her feelings after flunking the test. It doesn't help having mean-spirited neighbors who won't let you get a good night's sleep.

 I started my version of Deligracy's Tiny Town Challenge. Hers is for the Sims 4, so I had to adapt it. I also created a Builders Version, but I'm trying the gameplay version. Here are the rules. LEPacy challenge: Generation 9 - Gains teens - continued renovations to Roseward.

 My game has crashed twice because I get wrapped up in the game play and building and forget to save regularly. I hope I didn't lose too much progress. I'll start this post with Fluff's graduation and the Gains family vacation to Egypt. I posted these on Facebook already, but I also wanted them here. I discovered that the option to "turn into toy form" did not make the imaginary friends unplayable like a ghost choosing to return to the dead. Instead they turn into the walking around kind. Both Snuggles and Fluffs wanted to go to Egypt, so after Fluff graduated, that's what the entire family did - except Simicon and the dog. Fluff graduated at the courthouse as in all games. I had put a jynx rug inside the blacked out shell. Later I changed the blacked out part to an interior with floors and walls - not yet furnished.  Gina has a crush of Fluffs, but now that he's a young adult, he can't be romantically involved with her.
