Northern Winds Challenge - Part 15 - The Art of Self-transformation

Transformation seems to be the theme of this installment. A few lots have been transformed as well as each member of the family. They have been living in Huckleberry Bay now for 22 days and counting.

I noticed there was a lot that indicated it was a nectary and Sim Fu lot, but when Polly went to check it out, it was empty, so I built it up. There are a few pictures shown in the story, but I forgot to take the overall photos. I also dropped one house and built a caravan house - it was my first attempt, and even though I put a boat trailer under it to give it wheels, I also put the pilon foundation, which hides it, and I can't remove the foundation. This lot was 8X6 so there wasn't room to maneuver while I was building. With that in mind, I think it turned out pretty well for a first attempt. A girl named Gillian Albert moved into it.

As for the transformation of the family members, another full moon occurred, and Max again met up with Charity. This time they became werewolves together. Max also learned that Charity's relationship with her baby-daddy Kendall wasn't going so well, so he saw his chance to become more than friends. They met at the festival and did some hunting. Then Max became flirtatious and Charity responded positively to his advances. He asked her to break up with Kendall, and she agreed. This won't help Max's career as Kendall is his coworker and now his relationship with coworkers will be low.

Max and Charity woohooed in the fortuneteller's caravan and both came out naked.

A nosey bystander tried to lecture them of their public indecency, but Max told him as werewolves they would do anything they pleased. The bystander asked if Max was feeling cold . . . .

Charity got angry and was fixin' to attack, but then thought better of it. She said someone was having issues, and she was leaving.

Luckily Max has some mementos of the night of their first woohoo.

The next day, Max decided to take a boat out and spotted Kendall on a nearby island.

He tried to smooth things over with him - after all, Kendall and Charity weren't getting along anyway, right? Kendall would not accept the olive branch Max was extending.

Max got the upper hand, however.

I switched over to Charity's household for a little bit to see what her story was and to kick out Kendall if he was living with her. He was, so that's when I dropped a house and built the caravan so he'd have a choice of where to go when I kicked him out. (He chose the house.) Meanwhile, I got a notification that Maxwell was seen out and about with Laurel Molina, and they were romantically involved. Max, you cad! I was trying to set you up with Charity!

Max threw a party at the town hall as the house it too small for parties, and Laurel showed up. I think Charity was working, but she had been invited too.

Laurel was not happy with Max and accused him of cheating.

"Whoa, lady, I was with her BEFORE I met you! I'm cheating, but I'm cheating WITH you, not cheating ON you!"

"You never even mentioned her when we got together!"

"She's my werewolf friend. We have a lot in common, and we are the only werewolves on the island! Sometimes when there's a full moon, things get a little out of control. But like I said, this all happened before I met you!"

I don't think Laurel is buying what he's trying to sell her. Anyway, the girl in the background really has to pee, so let's move on to Polly.

Polly is also finding some romance. Johnny Dumbledore is married, but he really thinks Polly is hot, even though she is much older than he is. They met at the nectary/Sim Fu lot and he worked on martial arts skills while she read and drank nectar. They became a little flirty.

Polly is getting a little concerned that Kyngston hasn't found someone yet. He's focused on other things, like his career and recreation, but a grandma can't help but try and play matchmaker from time to time.

"This is my grandson Kyngston. He's a private investigator. He also loves boating, snorkeling, and music. I think you would get along very well together."

"Would you like his phone number?"

As we know, Polly has always had issues with growing older. She has earned enough lifetime happiness points to get the age reversal potion, so of course she did.

She transformed herself back into a young adult. I think, baring a terrible accident, she'll live forever.
She went to the boat house, which has been transformed into a work-out room as all family members have been wanting to get strong, get pumped, or train someone and the island doesn't have a gym. I figure they can invite their friends over to work out as well.

Kyngston needs to find a woman and produce the next generation. Some women seem interested, but none have stuck yet. He has also acquired the neurotic trait.

Loretta Daily, his grandma's friend, who also showed interest in Maxwell, is now showing interest in Kyngston. She's such a weirdo!

He also met Karrie Cromwell . . .

And Gillian Albert from the caravan. But he's not really looking too hard for a mate yet. He worked in the investigator career for awhile, solving petty crimes involving stolen mouthwash and kicked gnomes, and he decided to return Deidre's ladder and bathtub because without the ladder, Deidre and her husband couldn't get to their bed or bathroom, and without the bathtub they would just be stinky all the time, and that's cruel. As much as he enjoyed being a private eye, his real interest was in music, and he really wanted to be a singer, so he reinvented himself, and now he's making money performing singing telegrams and singing for tips.

Rain or shine, he's ready to perform.

The whole family is working hard but also taking time to enjoy the recreational opportunities Huckleberry Bay offers.

Next on the agenda: find Kyngston a mate.
