Clary Saga Part 3 - coping with Al's death

It's been awhile since I visited the Clarys, so I thought I'd drop in and see how they are doing. When I left them Al, the father, had just died while working out in the home gym. (I guess he had a heart attack or something.) The family were grieving when I checked in on them. Stefanie sought out Conor Christian, as he has had a good shoulder to cry on in the past.

Paloma, Al's wife, chose to go to the gym and work out with all her old cronies.

Stefanie, decided to go have a relaxing evening on the beach. However, she was attacked by a vicious child, and she had to open up a can of whoop-ass in order to subdue her. Where were this girl's parents!

Then Stefanie patronized the little punk! (This was an interaction I had never seen before.)

When Stefanie got home, her mother bawled her out and put her in time out for fighting. But it wasn't her fault! Life is so unfair. Stefanie was awfully glad that her birthday was coming up, and she was going to be an adult! Then no one will be able to put her in time out again!

Bernardo's grief was evident as he sat in the rain eating his country bread.

I'm not sure if he was sad about the loss of his father, or the fact that his bread was soggy.

This would make a great painting: Sad boy and soggy bread. Too bad I don't know how to convert screenshots into in game pictures. Someone on Facebook tried to explain it, but it sounded too complicated for me.

Stephanie had a birthday party at the house. Unlike at her sister's party, nobody died this time. However, dear ole Dad is not behaving like the typical ghost whose grave/urn is on the lot. Most of the time they come out at night - but not every night - I haven't see Aunt Georgia lately. And they are gone by around 8 am the next morning. But not Al - he's around all the time, but he's not controllable. It was sweet that he attended Stefanie's party, however.

He also had to pee. I didn't think ghosts that were non-playable had to do these things. I think he's glitched.

Poor JC, Stephanie's boyfriend, was freaking out. I think he regrets coming to the party. It's not because of Al, however; it's because he doesn't like crowds.

I think if Stefanie marries him, they will have to have a private wedding - or at least a very small one.

Despite Al's ghostly presence in the house, Paloma is on the prowl for another man. She went prepared with a list of questions.

This guy was giving all the positive encouragement, and they were friends, but when she kissed him, he freaked out - maybe because his wife had just walked into the room on her way to the bathroom. Oops! Nice save, guy.

Now I need to decide what to do with Stefanie. Do I send her to college because she wants to be a scientist, or does she marry JC or possibly Conor Christian?
