LEPacy Challenge: Stuck in an Alternate Universe.

 Well, time to start a new game. Linus, Jasper and Y-66R travelled to Oasis Landing and stayed several days. Linus joined the Astronomy career; Jasper worked on his advanced science skills, 

and Y-66R tried desperately to get 6 people together to hear him play. (I guess he should have thrown a party. A party will be coming up.) When the boys decided to return to the past, the time portal broke down, and instead of transporting them home, they found themselves in an alternate universe in Bridgeport. (When I tried to send them back, the game glitched and no portrait panels appeared and part of the operating panel was missing. I went back to my recent save and saved the group to the bin.  I would have done the same with Tracie, Jeff, SIM, and the cat, but I had deleted those saves already.) In this alternate universe, Tracie, Jeff, SIM, and the cat don't seem to exist.

Luckily, what was left of Linus' lottery winning made the trip with him, and he was able to buy a fancy house and fill it with the most expensive furniture he could find. (This accounts for the very eclectic interior.)

 

The kitchen seems a little drab to me, but I'm not sure what to do with it yet. 

Luck would have it that a new Astronomy facility had just been completed, and wasn't far from the house. Linus went and re-applied to the career, but lost a lot of traction.  I don't know how long he will continue working full-time now that he is an elder. He might quit and putter about the science lab on the bottom level of the house.

Jasper is enthralled with the digital fish tank that looks into the swimming pool.

I also built a small apartment in the lower level off the garage with Jasper in mind, but Linus decided it was for him, so I guess it's a "granny flat" of sorts. Jasper gets the main house. My focus will be on his generation and finding him a mate anyway.

To review, Jasper's life plan is for him to get together with one woman (preferably a firefighter or a mixologist  - He did come across a mixologist with big boobs when he took himself out to eat.) He will have a child or two with her. Then she leaves, dies, or they otherwise break up. Then he will meet someone else (preferably a firefighter or at least a first responder type if the first one is the mixologist) and start a new life, having at least one child with her. He is slated to have three kids, be a property mogul, have a career in the military, refuse to let strangers (pizza delivery, baby sitters, etc.) in the house, and create a calendar of 12 similar themed pictures, then create a coffee table book featuring the photos. (He will write a non-fiction book, and I will post his pictures in a blog entry.)

Right now he's brushing up on his photography skills - he's not a very good photographer. Although he's a loner, he is trying to meet as many people in the strange new town as possible.

I hope to have a party soon, and invite all the people he, Linus, and Y-66R meet.
