Toledo County Residents - Part 4
Featured families: Toledo and Rivers.
The Toledos had a baby girl and named her Lucia. I went to their house to put in a nursery and evict the roommates. When I got there, the parents were there, but also Guadalupe Coy, a teen babysitter who was still hanging around the house and taking care of the baby. She intrigues me. I was surprised that Story Progression provides babysitters for sims I wasn't playing!
She's an NPC, so I doubt I can find her and play her, but I bet I can shift-click and add her to my household. I'd like to make her a live-in nanny. I think I'll do that and give her the spare bedroom. Guadalupe is flirty, family-oriented, a klepto, and a coward. She favors hot pink, PBJ sandwiches, and pop music.
The Toledos also acquired a puppy named Ginger Farris - I guess it was really Andre's pup, but he left her when he moved out.
The Toledo family are spending a nice, quiet evening at home watching TV together. However, they did go out one evening to Toni Rivers' party, and Guadalupe arrived again to take care of Lucia.
Rusty Tolbert was at the party, and so was this lady in the foreground. Her name was Leona Ali, but she quickly married her boyfriend Sherman Naylor the next day or later that night, because the next time we see her, she is Leona Naylor. Leona is a party animal, an equestrian, and an angler. She is also artistic and loves the outdoors. I may have to visit the Naylors soon and set them up on a farm and get her a horse. Her lifetime wish is to have a collection of perfect fish in fishbowls. She currently works as a journalist.
At the party, the Toledos also learned that Toni found a boyfriend: Ahmed Friedman, who is a workaholic and opted to work in the kitchen while the party was going on in the living area. Ahmed is not only a workaholic, but also nurturing, overemotional, a bookworm, and an angler. He likes the color turquoise, vegetarian chili, and soul music. He is currently employed in the medical field.
The next day, the Toledos discovered that Toni had invited them to her wedding. (I may have to adjust Story Progression down - things are happening fast!)
The night before, someone came into Toni's house and stole her car from the garage. This left her a little preoccupied and troubled at the beginning of the ceremony, but soon, she was living in the moment.
Toni's wedding was a small, intimate affair that took place at Stoney Church. Since the weather was nice, they married out at the gazebo rather than inside the church itself.
The guests included the Toledos, Rusty Tolbert, Arlene Flint (the woman Fidel Dutton was playing kissy-face with at the Plum Blossom Restaurant a few episodes earlier), and Leona Naylor, who must have gotten married shortly before (not pictured).
I know that Lindsay and Toni are basically wearing the same dress, but this particular style looks the best on these bigger gals. It's one of my favorite formal dresses that comes with the game.
After the ceremony, everyone autonomously gathered in the celebration hall for the cutting of the cake. I was impressed!
Arlene seems to be a bit of a pariah. I've seen messages that arguments have been witnessed around town between her and her boyfriend Fidel. No one at this party seems to like her much. I assume she wasn't invited, but came to report on the event for the newspaper as she is a journalist.
I don't know why the mail carrier is here. Maybe she was delivering mail to the church and thought she'd get in on some free food. She clearly doesn't like Arlene either.
It looks like some of the guests are getting bored. Rusty is working on his laptop and Lindsay is playing on the floor with toys. How rude! Poor Orlando is getting his feet crushed by the bride, and Arlene is thinking about work.
Leona isn't feeling well. Is it bad food, or is she pregnant already? I didn't think to check.
The dance of the bride and groom.
Whoops!
After most of the guests had left, evening fell. There was a full moon. Chet, the clumsy zombie decided to crash the party.
No one took him seriously, poor guy.
To be fair, those who stayed behind had a lot to drink by this time.
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
Memories: we will enjoy them.
Next on the agenda:
- Add Guadalupe to the Toledo household (Save her to the bin, too)
- Check on the Naylor household
- Check on Arlene Flint
- Revisit Rusty Tolbert - he has a new girlfriend, and it isn't the one he was dating earlier - at least I don't think so - Rusty is now dating Andre Farris' ex-girlfriend Karie Alvarez.
