LEPacy challenge - time to move again.

LEPacy challenge - time to move again.

The game keeps crashing, which means it's time to move again. I put a poll out for my Facebook group to help me choose between Monte Vista and Hidden Springs.  I'm leaning toward Monte Vista as it's kind of "foreign" and this generation is exploring World Adventures.

I'm still trying to figure out how to retrieve Ming Hong into the family. It took Garrett awhile to find her as she has a half-sister with the same name, and the Ming Hong that is Garrett's daughter doesn't live in the Hong household. She apparently is being raised by the Min-Yat Sen family who live next door to the Hongs. This is her getting to know Garrett.

Garrett took up with Biyu again, who apparently flits from man to man.  He asked her to break up with her husband, which upset Biyu's step son.

After this bit of drama, Biyu left the house and immediately took up with someone else! This is not what Garrett had in mind!

Despite this, Garrett and Biyu are still close.  She will just never be his "forever girl" which is just as well since he's supposed to be a single parent in this generation.

In addition to finding his daughter, Garrett had some other adventures. What are you trying to do here, buddy? Are you a fan of Hoodini?

Gunnar went along as well. He got the opportunity to try and retrieve the boulder-breaking axe, but hasn't achieved it yet.  That is for the next visit.  He did brush up on his martial arts skills and saw some breath-taking scenery.

His "date" should have used the bathroom before coming all the way up here as there is not bathroom up here.

Upon returning home, the brothers discovered a new house and some new neighbors. (This is the Ritz-Craft building challenge house called Jenny's Cottage that I just completed.)

I forget the name of the neighbors, but they have two teen or young adult daughters and a cute little dog.

Garrett went on a date and got romantic with his best friend Anita Shallow, and broke up her marriage; he then asked her to go steady. (To be fair, she asked him out, so she must not have been very happy in her marriage to Dallas anyway.)

It looks like Anita has marriage on her mind.

Meanwhile, Gunnar was enjoying a happy-go-lucky life of fishing and busking . . .

Gunnar loves the outdoors, but for some reason, while I was play-testing Jenny's Cottage with the other family, he ran off and joined the political career, which doesn't seem much like him, but whatever.  He's still waiting for Marla to age up, but like I said, the game keeps crashing, and moving to another town seems to fix the problem. Maybe he'll invite her to visit and then ask her to move in. Time to pack the family portraits, favorite artifacts from China, and the heirloom painting from grandpa Cordell, then settle in to a new town and retrieve Ming Hong and the magic axe.
