LEPacy challenge: Highlights of the founding family.
The first generation is waning and the second generation is taking its place. Here are some highlights of this first nuclear family.
Teaching Stormy to walk.
Burglarized. I don't know why Cycl0n3 is dream about women's shoes . . .
Contemplating reaching adult stage. "I'm no longer a young girl any more. What now?"
Saturday morning with the family.
Stormy's teen birthday party. Why these kids chose to do their homework is beyond me!
Stormy's first attempt at cooking. She chose to try it during a house party.
Pregnant with Cordell (the heir).
Girls' day out at Central Park.
"That man digging through the trash? No, that's not my husband."
Dad!?! What are you doing! This is sooo embarrassing!"
Cordell's teen birthday. Now I can finally have some fun with him. (I miss Generations!)
I have chosen Cordell to be the heir because the randomizer and his traits lined up well. He was born with the Athletic and Virtuoso trait and acquired the Flirty trait on his teen birthday. The life path for him will be as follows, according to the randomizer roller I'm using:
Married with three children
Career: Professional Sports (Reach top level)
Wife's Career: Animal Wrangler (catching and selling small animals and bugs - Pets will be the first expansion I will use because of this.)
Party to Remember - there are several choices for this, and I haven't decide which one I will be doing, but I'm leaning toward the sports party:
Requirements: Most expensive TV in the game; Sports channel on; Good quality cocktails or drinks; Pizza for appetizer + Super Bowl-type food for main course (very nice quality or better) + dessert (very nice quality or better); Serve the meal in the same room as the TV.
For Fun: "My Precious" - Cordell's family must buy one decor item per week and display the items as a collection in the home - never selling any of them.
Cordell has also chosen mastering both the painting and guitar skills as his lifetime wish.
I intend for Cordell to remain in Sunset Valley until his parents pass away, then move to Appaloosa Plains. While he's in Sunset Valley, he can look for a spouse and begin his athletic career. If he doesn't find "Miss Right" in Sunset Valley, he can look in Appaloosa Plains.
Meanwhile, Stormy has joined the Science career and met the love of her life: Bill Landgraab. Unfortunately, Bill was married at the time, but she did manage to convince him to break up with his wife Stephanie.
Then she asked him to marry her.
He said yes! They both love the outdoors. As Stormy grew into a young adult, she acquired the insane trait, which I am really tired of as I have had several sims in several games with this trait, and they are constantly talking to themselves and dressing in the wrong outfits. This is another reason why I have chosen to go with Cordell as the heir. Stormy's and Bill's wedding will be the next post. As expected, things did not go as planned - typical for a sim's public wedding.
Lucy talking with Stormy about the wedding, and Cordell telling Bill he loves the color green.
As for the older generation, Lucy is not quite to the point of reaching all her goals. She is level 8 or 9 in the Culinary career, has achieved the handiness skill top level, has reached level 8 in logic (Topping these is her lifetime wish), and she is a partner in three businesses around town: both restaurants and the grocery store. She has the two required children and is happily married to Cycl0n3. She's an elder now, so hopefully she will achieve her career and logic goals before Grim comes visiting.
