After completing their 4 season challenge, Aspen and Vinny moved into that high rise they had been planning for. Vinny's new simbot "best friend" Gary watched the house while they went off to college.  Here are some pictures:


They made a few friends at the meet and greet.


Aspen met her first vampire.  This woman was also in the medical major, and they sat next to each other in class frequently. This leering guy in the foreground is a "sketchy" character in more ways than one.  Earlier I found him sitting on the bathroom floor sketching who knows what.


There was some down-time,



But both behaved themselves and applied themselves to their studies.



This looked like a recipe for disaster: severe lightning storm, questionable gizmos that emitted sparks, using said gizmo to mess with one's own brain . . . I was glad Vinny was carrying a death flower with him.  Luckily, he didn't need to use it.

Their hard work paid off. Both passed with flying colors.  Vinny still has 6 credits to go to get a technology degree, but he wants to be a fireman anyway, so I don't know if he will continue.  Aspen, on the other hand, has a medical degree in addition to the business degree she got as a lifetime reward.



Upon returning home, Vinny joined the firefighter career and put out his first fire.  

Aspen joined the medical career at level 4.


She discovered she is pregnant, however, so she is putting her career on hold - at least for a little while.


Meanwhile, the simbot Gary desperately sought his own romantic counterpart, which was difficult, as he is the only robot in town.



He did meet a woman who seemed to be into him . . . which leads me to wonder . . . can simbots produce offspring with humans?  If so, what will the child be?

 I started my version of Deligracy's Tiny Town Challenge. Hers is for the Sims 4, so I had to adapt it. I also created a Builders Version, but I'm trying the gameplay version. Here are the rules. LEPacy challenge: Generation 9 - Gains teens - continued renovations to Roseward.

 My game has crashed twice because I get wrapped up in the game play and building and forget to save regularly. I hope I didn't lose too much progress. I'll start this post with Fluff's graduation and the Gains family vacation to Egypt. I posted these on Facebook already, but I also wanted them here. I discovered that the option to "turn into toy form" did not make the imaginary friends unplayable like a ghost choosing to return to the dead. Instead they turn into the walking around kind. Both Snuggles and Fluffs wanted to go to Egypt, so after Fluff graduated, that's what the entire family did - except Simicon and the dog. Fluff graduated at the courthouse as in all games. I had put a jynx rug inside the blacked out shell. Later I changed the blacked out part to an interior with floors and walls - not yet furnished.  Gina has a crush of Fluffs, but now that he's a young adult, he can't be romantically involved with her.
