Trump in Greenland #3 - The long-lost son arrives, more housing made available, the wedding and other parties

Trump in Greenland #3 - The long-lost son arrives, more housing made available, the wedding and other parties.

August, his wife Fatima, and his two daughters have arrived in Saaqartoq.  I built them a green house with a basement - it was a little tricky because it sat on a slope, but I made it work.  I put a nice upper deck on the house because there wasn't room for outdoor space, then noticed that Fatima and the two daughters all hate the outdoors.

These pictures show nice weather, but it has been rare in this session. There was lots of rain followed by winter.  Winter made everything pretty, however.

August hasn't met his father yet, but his oldest daughter is working for him part-time at one of the business he owns. Trump's still got a lot of time before he ages up to elder, so barring a freak accident, August has plenty of time to buddy up to him.

In addition to August's house, I also moved the salon to an empty shell building sitting on top of some in-the-basement rabbitholes. I turned the old salon into a house.  I also visited a couple other households to try and clean up their problems, fixing broken things, making sure they had cribs and pet gear, and getting rid of washing machines and clothes dryers! Trump went to a few different parties and the places had dirty laundry all over the floor. The next building I'm going to convert is the laundromat because I never send my Sims there, and the town still needs more housing. There are also about 3 more empty lots to build on, and I think I can put some more apartments in the apartment house.

This is a party town - especially in the winter when it's cold outside. I think Trump has thrown another poker party, then proposed to Berthe, then Berthe had a bachelorette party on the Neptune.

The following day, Trump threw a bachelor party at the Fisherman's Pub.

I don't know why he chose to wear this beekeeper hat - I don't even think he had it as a wardrobe choice! There was a party dancer named Bea Buzzyby, so maybe he wanted to fend her off 😏
Now that I think of it, Berthe has been wearing some new outfits I haven't selected for her as well. Hers actually look nice on her though - not weird like this.

He had fun until he passed out.  He had to get up and to the church in time for the wedding the next afternoon. The wedding, for being a public one, went surprisingly well! No one caught on fire, no one died, no one got in a fight or hollered that they were hungry in the middle of the ceremony, and nobody wet their pants (except maybe Jules).

They did have one uninvited paparazzi who came dressed like a prostitute, and Berthe made sure she knew she was not welcome. The banquet table served spaghetti and pumpkin pie - I'm not sure why - I was expecting the standard turkey, autumn salad, and cookies.  Maybe these are their favorite foods? I'll have to check.

The evening ended with some entertainment from Berthe. (Whoever made this venue created an upright piano by turning a bookcase against the wall and used moveobjects to place the keyboard into the bookcase. Genius!)

Tomorrow is Snowflake Day, so I think they will throw yet another party, then go on their honeymoon to France as both have expressed wishes to do so off and on. Berthe wants to brush up on nectar-making and see some of her old friends. I had put a dance club in one of the shell houses near the marketplace.  I hope it's still there.  I think it will be.
