 There's been quite a hiatus what with the EA App debacle and the fact that my game kept crashing because the town of Roseward just got to big and busy for my RAM to handle.  The big news for this installment is the fire that took place at Elaine's house. I decided to have them call the fire department instead of putting it out themselves, since no one seemed up to the job. I wasn't sure this rookie firefighter was up to the job either, but she managed it. After the fire was out. Elaine was advised to get a smoke detector. Elaine wondered what it would cost to get a good one. Elaine's roommates are Latosha McCombs, who works in the culinary career, and Natalie Currie, who works in the business career. Natalie is a friend of Athena's and they hung out at the Cherry Blossom House where Athena attempted to make some stir-fry. Natalie was clearly having a good time.  It turns out the guy Guadalupe was pursuing is named Jayme Upton. Birthdays rolled around in the Metzger household: Sullivan aged up to a teen and Guadalupe aged up to an adult.  With Sullivan no longer in need of a nanny, and since Guadalupe now has a full-time job, she decided to move out and get her own place.  She started small. She invited Jayme over to see her new place and asked him to move in with her. He agreed, and was responsive to her flirting with him - until she kissed him. Then he freaked out and thought she was being creepy. They smoothed things over, though and eventually, after a few days, they tried for a baby. I don't understand what Jayme's hang-up is - he doesn't have commitment issues, but he is a loner. He doesn't seem interested in marrying Guadalupe, but he seems content raising a family with her.  They built on to Guadalupe's tiny house in preparation for the new bundle of joy.
