"I Love Old People" gone off the tracks Well, that didn't go as planned. I've been building my 10x10 challenge lots in the same town as my "I Love Old People" challenge. The retirement home had two caretakers (a young couple) and five elders (three males and two females). I switched households briefly to fix up the living situation for my Simself, and when I switched back, the elders had paired up - Dara (the flirty ex-showgirl) and Amir (a very nice retired horseman and engineer) had become romantic and Shawn (mean-spirited and always gunning for a fight) and Heather (the hopeless romantic psychic) had become romantic. My caretakers have been invited to friends' party, and while attending, I noticed the households didn't have what they needed for the number of people they had living there and no pet stuff when they had pets.  Reclaiming Roseward I recently downloaded this post-apocalyptic world called Roseward (created by nigalkins) and have been wanting to explore it, but got caught up in the "I Love Old People" challenge. I've been trying to think up a way to work this into one of my other stories to avoid creating another one as I'm not sure if my computer has the capacity to keep adding new games.  Here's what I came up with.  Roseward was a site of a mysterious virus outbreak back in the 60's. No one was sure what the cause was, but it was deadly and spreading like wildfire through the town. In desperation, the government walled off the town allowing no one in or out, and with a carefully acquired sample began working on a cure. Due to budget constraints and bureaucratic red tape, it took 60 years to come up with a vaccine that the medical profession felt confident would prevent people from contracting the disease.  I Love Old People Challenge #5 House of discord, the stolen clothes, and baby making in Dara's hot tub. While Dara was skinny dipping in the hot tub, Amelia thought she'd sneak up and take her clothes. She thought better of it, however and decided to join her.  About this time, I heard a slap-fight going on and went to investigate.  It was these two. There was a lot of discord in this episode, discord of the argument variety and of the music variety. And it turns out that Amelia is the one who was pranked by someone stealing her clothes.   But who could have done it? I was watching Shawn, Dara, and Darron at the time that the notification of the missing clothes appeared, and Smokey has no thumbs and was asleep at the time. It had to have been either Heather or Amir. We will never know. Heather finally found a willing subject to practice her psychic readings on.  I Love Old People challenge Part #4 - Darron's personality shift, romances formed, Dara's hot tub, and the outing to the community center. Eric, the caretaker dude, is turning out to be quite the activist.  He announced a protest at City Hall and went to rile up the crowd.  It appears they were protesting FOR radiation (no "no" symbol over the radiation symbol)? At any rate, who happened to show up but my married and pregnant sim-self who I placed in the tiny 10x10 beach challenge house.  I needed to sort her life out a little, so took about 24 sim hours setting her up in an acceptable living situation.  After I sorted her out, I went back to the retirement home, and what did I see, but Amir and Dara k-i-s-s-i-n-g!
