Lunastia Part 4 - Cohort #2's results and rewards; the first "native" generation.

The training of Cohort #2 came to an end. Here are the results:

Cori Gabriel got 6th place, but because there was a tie between two others, I eliminated 6th place and moved her up to 5th place. She scored lowest mostly because of her proclivity to sabotage the equipment. She left the project having gained the following skills: 3 fishing, 3 gardening, 1 science, 4 handiness, and 2 advanced technology. The science and advanced technology were strange ones as she's a technophobe, but she really did want to do the science stuff even though she often sabotaged the machine. She was friends with Moses and Ahmad was her boyfriend. She won 10,000 simoleons.

This is her house. It was built across the street from her fellow technophobe Camille.

Her house was VERY modestly furnished with a full bathroom, the cheapest single bed, cheap table and two chairs, and a minifridge.

She planted some things from her inventory and they were ready for harvest by the time fall came around.

Ahmad Ring came in 4th and won 15,000 simoleons. He left the project with the following skills: 1 inventing, 1 handiness, 2 painting, 1 bot building, and 1 advanced technology. He created some nanites and a trait chip along with CLYDE the plumbot. He has Precious as a romantic interest and had Cori as a girlfriend.

CLYDE has the limitless learning and competent cleaner trait chips and a "duct tape" quality. He and Ahmad were housed together.

The inside was quite modest, but had everything Ahmad and CLYDE would need: a charging station for CLYDE and a bed, full bathroom, and full kitchen for Ahmad. There was even some extra room big enough to house the bot building machine once Ahmad could afford it. But one thing was missing: Cori.

Since they up and got married and were expecting a baby while I had my back turned, I moved Ahmed in with Cori and the plumbot CLYDE got this house to himself. (I'm thinking of getting him a roommate as he doesn't have the sentient chip and therefore can't make a living outside the house.)

As for Ahmad and Cori, with the additional funds Ahmad brought with him, they were able to add a nursery, full kitchen, full size bed, and seating area. (Sorry, I forgot to take a new overview picture.)

It wasn't long before baby Skylar joined the family. He's got his mamma's eyes.

The 3rd place winners with 20,000 simoleons each were evil Jaimey McMillan and loser Moses Armstead. As they were boyfriend and girlfriend, they combined their resources to build their house.

While Jaimey made no friends while on the project (probably because she liked scaring everyone and was mean to them,) she acquired the following skills: 1 cooking, 2 fishing, 7 gardening, 1 handiness, 1 painting, and 1 advanced technology.

Moses left not only with a girlfriend (Jaimey), but also a love interest (Sheena) and two friends (Stephan and Cori.) As for skills, he gained 3 athletic, 2 gardening, 1 street art, 1 logic, 1 advanced technology, and 2 martial arts.

They are quite lovey-dovey, but have not produced any children as of yet. But they have plenty of room upstairs for a growing family. Here's their house. Only the downstairs is furnished.

This house includes a roof-top garden, and you can see a tree growing up there.

This is the main floor. The ensuite bathroom was an addition after they made a little more money. I forgot the bathroom that I had put in was just a half bath and by the time I realized it, I had already spent all their money and didn't want to change anything.

This is the back. They will probably invest in some more windows and some outdoor furniture at a later date.

The 2nd place winner with 30,000 simoleons was Stephan Willis.

Stephan loves to cook. He left the project with level 4 cooking, level 4 logic, level 2 mixology, and level 1 advanced technology. I'm thinking he will open his own bar or restaurant. He has his girlfriend Sheena and friend Moses.

Sheena may have found her prince charming and potential father of her children, but she still doesn't seem too sure. Moses got a letter from her saying she was "bored" and thought they would have a lot more fun if they were together. There may be some drama developing here, as her and Stephan's new house is right next door to Moses' and Jaimey's.  Add to this the fact that Stephan and Moses are friends and there seems to be no love lost between Jaimey and Sheena . . . .

Sheena, the one who didn't need any motivation to work on skills, took first place with 50,000 simoleons. She was the one who took in the cat, Nova in addition to having her boyfriend Stephan and love interest Moses. She left the project with the following skills: 5 sculpting, 2 painting, 2 advanced technology, and 4 gardening.

Here's their house:

Sheena likes lime green and Stephan likes Kelly green, so I used green as the accent color.

Since they had a lot of money, I made sure they both had skill items they'd be happy with. Sheen got a sculpting station, easel, and baby nursery, and Stephan got an Asian grill, professional bar in addition to a regular stove. They also have a "cat corner" for Nova's stuff. They have plenty of money left over, but I'd like Stephan to open a restaurant or bar in the near future.

Sheena and Stephen had a lot of lifetime happiness points, so I got both of them the fertility treatment reward from the store. I got them to the irresistible stage and then selected "try for a baby . . ."

. . . but the action was cancelled, and Stephan set himself in a cooking loop, where he'd use his new
Asian grill to prepare food, then eat some, then cook more, then eat more, etc. I decided they'd better have a party to get rid of some of the food.

Sheena invited members of both cohorts along with Oxga Xoxxaw, whom she met a few nights previously.

Oxga apparently likes Asian cuisine, so of course she needed to come to the party. Everyone seemed to be having fun.

CLYDE immediately started cleaning up Stephan's mess! Thanks CLYDE!

I have no idea where CLYDE got the laser instrument. He must have taken it from the Science and Industry building as the dome still had one when I went to remodel it.

I think Sheena has found a new friend in Camille.

Speaking of Camille, she and Brandon have been getting busy while I was with cohort 2.

Brandon had to move out of his beach house and sell his boat. He moved in with Camille and they added to her house.

The Underwood-Kemp family weren't the only ones from cohort 1 to reproduce.

Both Curtis and Guadalupe have grown into children. Curtis especially was wanting to make some friends. The boys finally met at the party.

Curtis is the blue-haired child of Traci and Wesley Decker. The other kid is Guadalupe. There isn't a school yet on this planet. The affluent Decker family value education and Traci frequently takes Curtis to the Science and Industry building to work on logic and chemistry, and Wesley reads to Curtis at night.

I don't think Guadalupe has the same advantages. He's not an only child like Curtis. He has a baby sister, Rachel. Camille has her hands full and isn't as able to take him places to provide for his education.

Also, I guess there aren't any babysitters on this planet. Poor Rachel was left alone while the rest of the family went to the party.

So far, Skylar, Rachel, Curtis, and Guadalupe are the only children on the planet. I'm sure more will be coming along soon.

In other news, I spotted some drama over at Skylight Studio of the Arts. This was before Rachel was born. Ahmad was flirting with Precious, and Brandon was getting upset about it in front of his wife.

You've got a wife who's pregnant with your second child, Brandon! Ahmad, where is your wife, and does she know you're flirting with another woman? Come on guys! Get your acts together!

I also added a walk-in movie theater in the basement of the arts center.

And I built up the inside of the Central Government building, with a police station/jail on one side of the first floor, and the mayor's office on the other. Upstairs is the military recruiting center and a gym for the members of the military (though anyone can use it.)

Way to scare Brandon, Jaimey.

Wesley has joined the music career, and can often be found jamming with others in his off hours. In this instance it was Stephan.

I'm trying to make sure each household has at least one rabbithole job, so they can be making money even when I'm not with them.

I was in the middle of remodeling the dome into a community garden with a shopping mall downstairs. However, the game crashed and I lost some progress. Next episode I'll show the Central Government building and renovated Dome.
