Cowboy Life - An Appaloosa Plains Story - part 2

The Bachelorettes and the Feisty Horse, and the New Addition

Ole Chuck has gotten over his broken heart, which is a good thing, since Honey has clearly moved on.

Byron and Honey have since moved in together. I wonder if anyone has told Johnny Johnson about this. He doesn't seem to have a clue - or he doesn't care. He hasn't gone out looking for any other ladies lately. Maybe I need to send him out looking.

Honey has been spotted around town and her fans adore her.

Some of the guys get downright giddy, like the guy on the right.

I think this must be a PR stunt as she seems too important to be busking downtown. She's got a camera man with her.

As for Chuck Hobble, he has met a few potential love interests.

He became fast friends with the proprietor at the performance park, and she's single, but is it wise to mix work with personal life? I'm thinking not, especially since his performance the other night wasn't all that great.

There's always his friend Oriole Bird. She's very friendly . . .

with a lot of guys. She's also in the criminal career, and I don't think Chuck wants to get embroiled in that drama.

His best bet, I think, is Miss Angel Jenner, the mixologist at the karaoke bar.

He frequently stops in for a drink and to ramble aimlessly or discuss philosophy. She sent him a poster and asked him to call her; he sent her a love letter, and she responded with a suggestion that he ask her out sometime. I don't think mixologists are chained to their post like cashiers are as the bars have certain hours. If they have problems getting together, I can find her another job.

He's been spending quite a bit of time at the karaoke bar. It's become his favorite.

Johnny has been frequenting the bars, but not really looking for any new girlfriends as he still seems stuck on Honey and clueless that she's got another man.

There's still things going on at the rodeo grounds. Chuck tried to have a party there - and found out the people running the concession stands don't do parties. Luckily the mixologist was there to serve the guests - when she wasn't out dancing.

Chuck did his rodeo clown act; there was bull-riding; and some brave novices took their chances with Kicker.

Kicker was not too worn out to throw him off, even though she protested. In the background it looks like the mixologist has abandoned her post to dance while Chuck is in an altercation with some woman, over what, I've no idea.

Back at home, Chuck became weary of the paparazzi hanging out on his ranch like they owned the place. He told this one that if he could ride Kicker, he could stay, otherwise he needed to leave.

Kicker threw him off and kicked him! He was wishing he had stayed in school.

Either that, or he wanted to teach Kicker a lesson.

Kicker thought the guy was a nerd and had no business being on her back.

In other ranch news, Chuck took Shadow to be bred and now they have this cute little colt named Boogie.

However, I think the paper got the horse's birth weight wrong.

Johnny as applauding about the birth of the foal, not the fact that Shadow peed in the barn.

Chuck has been working on mastering horsemanship (he's almost there) and improving his acrobat skills. He works for tips when he's not performing at the rodeo.

I can understand why he slapped Honey in the previous episode, but I have no idea why he slapped this guy. He didn't seem to have any kind of relationship with him. I guess he just didn't like the cut of his jib.

I may leave these fellas for a bit and check on Honey as she's expecting a baby. We'll see if they acquire new girlfriends while I'm away.
