Terence Bloodston

A member of one of my Facebook groups suggested we try to create this vampire in Sims.

Since its Halloween month, I was looking for something festive to do, so I did my best to create him.

His name is Terence Bloodston and he lives alone, (except for his cow plant Molly), in Bloodston house located on the tropical island of San Palmero, (as that location my game was in when I decided to create him and build his house.)

Terence is a proper, brooding equestrian who happens to be a great kisser and night owl. His lifetime goal is to be a master romancer, woohooing with five different people in five different locations. He's not really looking for women at the moment, but is more trying to establish some friendships and thereby have a generous food supply.

This is Bloodston House.

I might try to recolor the grass to a darker shade, but it will clash with the surrounding grass. I might try throwing in some weeds maybe. I've done a little bit of tweaking since these pictures were taken. Downstairs still has the blood red color scheme, but upstairs it is more of a dark tealish blue as that seems to be Terence's favorite color.

Here is the overview of the lower floor.

The small kitchen is in the upper right. I figured he wouldn't be interested in cooking much as he primarily needs plasma foods. Going clockwise from there is the dining area, sitting area, entryway, stairs and formal sitting area for guests.

Upstairs (now more the color of the carpet than the blood red) features the sleeping area behind the bookcase, an office area with reading nook and desk, an alchemy station, the stairs, and Molly the cow plant.

I had to build his house because he was sitting out in the hot sun brooding, and I was sure he would die before I got to know him.

Here are some interior shots.

When I built this house, I forgot the bathroom! I added it to the back of the first floor by the stairs. Poor Terence was upset with my choice of toilets.

I have no idea why he dislikes it so much.

The toilet paper was in there, Terence. Didn't you see it?

Once he got done brooding about the bathroom, I set him to learning alchemy in the daytime, so he could make the friendship, invigorating, and vampiric sunscreen potions. He seems to be a slow learner, however, because he's doing this in the daytime rather than at night.

At night, he goes out to meet people.

He made a friend of Maxwell from my Northern Winds Legacy game (I created a "spinoff" featuring Terence and am keeping the old save of the other household to continue the legacy when I'm done with Terence.)

He also likes shooting the breeze with the bartender over a hemoglobin shooter.

Some of the neighbors are weirder than he is.

The problem with a full moon is the the zombies tend to try and hone in on his potential meal sources.

Sometimes he chooses to switch things up and go "incognito." This is his alter-ego Fangs.

Fangs is a cool dude, too.

Terence is an equestrian without a horse, but Champ the unicorn seems to really like him, so maybe he will eventually join the family. (Damn zombies!)

Terence decided he wanted to be a private investigator. I thought he had a good idea. It's open hours, and he can conduct stakeouts at night,

but he's such a noob! On his first stakeout he didn't seem to realize the suspicious interaction was going on right behind him!

 Rookie mistake, I guess.

After he made some acquaintances, Terence decided to host a costume party (Terence went as himself.)

He was trying to explain his unusual diet to the lady dressed like a chef. It's just a costume, Terence. Remember?

Everyone played with Molly, and not one of them died. That's good, I guess.

All in all, the party went pretty well. In retrospect, I should have taken the pregnant lady to CAS and at least put an animal print on her preggy outfit.

That's about it for now. More to come.
