LEPacy Challenge: Gen 8 Jasper in Bridgeport and Oasis Landing (utopia)

Linus and Jasper threw some pretty lousy parties lately. They threw a pool party, but Linus kicked the bucket as the party was ending. He still wowed the ladies up until the end.

Jasper took the headstone to the cemetery. Jasper had been working on his chemistry skills and had made several potions. I learned sims can create mystery drinks with these potions just like they can with alchemy potions. Jasper decided the throw a mystery drink party and made it a formal affair. However, only a few people respected the dress code, and no one partook of the drinks.

I reset the town after the party, and I think it helped. It was starting to lag.

Jasper has not yet found the love of his life, and he has aged up to adult. He needs to get with it! He was interested in Brigid Steele, the mixologist at the restaurant,

and he finally got it so she had time to go out with him, but it apparently didn't go that well.

She had quit her mixology job and became a scientific researcher, which made me think, "That's great! they have science in common! He can invite her over to see his laboratory!" She was bored with him quickly, however. Maybe he shouldn't have spent the evening crying on her shoulder about the loss of his father. When he went to the bathroom, Romeo Rake came up to her and tried to steal her away!

That's right, Romeo. Act like nothing has happened. Are you checking her butt out?!? I don't know what Brigid thought about Romeo, but she sent Jasper a message that read something to the effect of, "Whatever day you are free to do something, I'm busy." Whatever, Brigid.

Jasper owns Waylon's Haunt, and when he bought it there was a female mixologist that he liked, but she must have quit because there's been a male mixologist working there ever since Jasper bought the bar.

I thought Jasper might be able to find someone in the future at Oasis Landing to have a romance with, but if didn't pan out either. He went to the utopia version, which I hadn't played before. Everyone has that annoying "stride of pride" walk and it takes forever for them to get anywhere. He used a windcarver board whenever he could to speed things up. The world was pretty, though.

When Jasper looked up his descendants, they were a large, but destitute family. He gave them a bag of money to help them out. He aged up to adult while at Oasis Landing and the game messed up like it did the last time he visited and I had to start a new game. I think it's the aging up while there that is causing the problem, as he also aged up at Oasis Landing the other time. I went to an old save and brought him home before aging up this time. But I still have pictures.

The goal is to find Jasper a mate at this time, as he's not getting any younger, and I'm eager to start Generation 9 and explore another pack. I think he'll visit the fire station as a last-ditch effort to find a mate that fits the parameters of his goals. If there's no one suitable, I'll go off script. Maybe his imaginary friend Snuggles is female. It's hard to tell, but he's trying to discover the potion to turn Snuggles real.

Is Jasper flipping off the camera in that first photo?

Another person who is having difficulty making friends and influencing people in a positive way is Big Harley. I don't know what he did, but nobody likes him - Jasper hasn't ever met him and still joined the bullying crowd.
