The Witchy Life of Venus Rucker

The Witchy Life of Venus Rucker

First a bit of background on Venus:

Venus is my legacy Sim from a challenge called “Deal With It Dumpster” where the Sim starts with nothing (but an empty lot because that is required) and must get what they need from dumpster diving, skills, limited collecting and the kindness of strangers.  (I tweaked the rules a little to make the challenge doable.) She lived in Hidden Springs.

Her name is Venus Rucker, and her traits are Avante Garde, Daredevil, Inappropriate, Mooch, and Shy.  Her life’s ambition is to be a gold digger. She built herself a small but cute little house of 3 rooms: bedroom, bathroom, and main living area.  She also built a garage to store the excess furniture that won’t fit in the house. I have decided that since toilets, fridges, and counters aren’t available in the dumpster, and I haven’t seen them in the junkyard, if Venus collects ten on any one type of furniture (couch/loveseat, chairs, end tables, etc.) She will be allowed to sell the excess and use that money to buy these things at that point.  I don’t allow her to pick things up off the ground unless it is edible, and she can’t sell anything edible. The only things she is allowed to get otherwise must be gotten with a skill, for instance fishing.  She can’t sell the fish, and since she can’t eat the fish because she doesn’t have a fridge, she is allowed to try a conversion spell on them to turn them into the kinds of things she can sell: metal, gem, or bug.

After Venus completed the challenge she sought out a rich old man to complete her gold-digger lifetime wish. She met, wooed, and married Simon Cho - in the nick of time, because he died on their wedding night, leaving her his ugly little dog.

This is no longer a Deal with It Dumpster challenge as my witch Venus Rucker completed that and her lifetime wish of Gold Digger.  She has moved from Hidden Springs where she “burned too many bridges,” to Midnight Hollow.  She took her late husband’s little dog with her. She found a lovely house fit for a witch to live in and is getting to know the townies.  She managed to stop or slow her aging, so that is no longer an issue for her.  Now she needs a mate. She also wants to master wand magic, alchemy, spells from the spell book, and the potions made with the cauldron to be the witchiest witch around.

Venus met Nathan Watts - who bears a striking resemblance to Nikola Tesla and works at the science facility. She did find a potion that gave her a long life, so she either doesn’t age or ages very slowly now. She got enough lifetime points to get a Genie in a lamp and wished for a large family. She got one! She had quadruplets - two boys and two girls. She had to expand the upstairs nursery.

On top of this Nathan and Venus have opened a store, called Rucker and Watts, that sells Venus’ potions and Nathan’s inventions. Venus is still working on her witchy skills. Here are Nathan and Venus enjoying their new hot tub just before the babies were born. They won’t have many moments like this from now on!
